Before All Might's boisterous voice was heard, it was on paper where this legend originated. Debuting 2014 in the Weekly Shōnen Jump by Kōhei Horikoshi, the series was completed in 2024.
Through the story of My Hero Academia, Horikoshi introduced us to an individual who rose above all heroes to become a symbol. A man whose smile was enough to bring fear itself to its knees.
Brought to life through Horikoshi's heartfelt storytelling and bold ink, it was in the manga that Toshinori Yagi's story originally unfolded to inspire readers around the world with his courage, passion and determination.
Across 42 volumes, the story of Izuku Midoriya and how he became the world's greatest hero is unveiled, yet without All Might, the story as we know it would have never begun. His journey, evolving from the Symbol of Peace to a mentor of heroes, is the emotional spine that ties this series together.

More is an epilogue chapter in the main series of the My Hero Academia manga, included in Volume 42, the series' final installment. Taking place eight years after the conclusion of the Final War, it gives us a look at where our heroes of Class 1-A are now.
It is the only chapter not to be included in the manga's weekly serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump, as well as being omitted from the anime's eight-season run.
A one-shot animated adaptation was released on May 2, 2026, under the title My Hero Academia: More.

Chapter 431.5 was included in Ultra Age: The Final Fan Book, released in Japan on May 2, 2025. Centered around a middle-school-aged Eri who pays a visit to Eraser Head at UA and also reveals that Toshinori Yagi is now the Vice Principal at UA.

This is a one-shot chapter about the origins of All Might, released in a promotional booklet given to moviegoers in Japan for the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes movie. While the booklet was in Japanese only, an English version of the chapter was available digitally for a limited time on the VIZ Media website during the film's theatrical release.
The story is set sometime after Toshinori Yagi had received One For All from Nana Shimura and includes her defeat at the hands of All For One as well as the subsequent events that lead to Toshinori's stay in America.
