My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (2018)
The first of four movies to grace our big screens, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was released in 2018 and gave us a rare glimpse into All Might’s past and the time he spent in the United States. Accompanying the film was a special one-shot manga, All Might: Rising, included in Volume 0: Origin, written by Kohei Horikoshi. The short story detailed the heartbreaking death of Toshinori’s mentor, Nana Shimura, at the hands of All For One as well as showing us the circumstances surrounding his subsequent departure to America, setting our stage for the young All Might we see in the movie.
An English digital version was released temporarily on the VIZ Media website and an animated OVA adaptation of Volume 0 was included with the Japanese Blu-Ray copy of the movie.
The movie itself follows All Might, Izuku Midoriya and other members of Class 1-A as they travel to I-Island, an artificial island that is dedicated to technological advances in research and support development for heroes. It is there we see Toshinori reunited with his old friend, David Shield and his daughter, Melissa. A trip that began as something exciting quickly becomes dangerous as a group of villains attempt to gain control of the island’s security systems while taking hostages while Izuku and his classmates work together to save the island.

My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising (2019)
Released in 2019, My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising was the second of four films released by the franchise. Though Toshinori takes on a much smaller role in this movie, we get a glimpse of his continued guidance and support as Class 1-A begins to find their place as heroes.
In this story, the students travel to the peaceful island of Nabu island where they take on real hero work by assisting the residents. What begins as a relaxing opportunity to gain experience becomes dangerous when a villain by the name of Nine arrives on the island with a few friends in search of a quirk that will help him achieve his goals. The students are pushed to their limits as their communication off the island is severed, relying on their training and teamwork to protect the people of the island.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission (2021)
In 2021 we were given the third movie, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. This installment sees Toshinori taking on a minor role, serving as an advisor to the World Heroes Association where he helps to coordinate U.A. students and heroes from around the world in an international effort to stop a dangerous terrorist group called Humarise. During the investigation into the organization, Izuku finds himself in an unexpected situation where he is falsely accused of murder and forced to go on the run. With many lives at stake, Izuku is forced to evade capture and help from afar until his fellow heroes and classmates can prevent a worldwide disaster.

My Hero Academia: You’re Next (2024)
Released in 2024, My Hero Academia: You’re Next was the fourth and final film the franchise has given us. Unlike the previous two movies, All Might’s legacy takes center stage in this story where an imposter calling himself “Dark Might” and who looks eerily similar to All Might, twists the Symbol of Peace’s final words, “You’re Next,” in an effort to become the next great symbol of peace. Izuku Midoriya and Class 1-A work to defeat Dark Might and his twisted interpretation of All Might’s ideals before his threat on innocent lives can be carried out.
